SnapOrder respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Because SnapOrder is a local-first app, the vast majority of your data never leaves your device.
Order data you create in the App — customer names, products, prices, delivery addresses, notes — is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not create an account for you or sync your order database to our servers.
SnapOrder does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name or email to use the App.
If you use AI screenshot extraction, the screenshot you choose is sent to our secure processing endpoint and to an AI provider so the App can read the conversation and suggest order details. We use this content only to provide the extraction result. You can always enter orders manually instead.
If you subscribe to SnapOrder Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to that transaction. RevenueCat helps us check whether your subscription is active.
We do not currently use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting services. If this changes in a future version, this policy will be updated and you will be notified.
The App may request access to your Photo Library to let you attach screenshots to orders or share a screenshot into SnapOrder. This permission is optional. Screenshots kept as order attachments are stored locally on your device; screenshots used for AI extraction are processed as described above.
Your data is retained on your device until you delete it manually or uninstall the App. Uninstalling SnapOrder permanently deletes all stored orders. We have no ability to recover deleted data.
SnapOrder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or App Store release notes.
